Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the standard work permit?
It is processed by a specialised unit (UGE) under the Startups Law, is much faster (~20 days), covers the whole country, and lets your family apply at the same time.
Can I apply from inside Spain?
Yes. If you are legally in Spain (for example on a student or tourist status that allows it), you can apply without returning home in many cases.
